Dailly Visits for Cats, Dogs, or Any Other Pet

Daily visits for cat, dogs, and other pets!

Daily Visits

Daily visits, also known as drop-by visits are specifically designed for cats, dogs*, or any other pet that does not require an overnight visit.  Daily visits are tailored specifically to you and your pet.  They are intended for a combination of any or all of the following: feeding, watering, socializing, playing, "business" breaks, administrating medications, cleaning litter boxes or cages, watering plants, alter lights and blinds/curtains, etc.

Daily Visits can be scheduled for 30, 45, or 60 minutes once, twice, or three times per day.  You can also customize longer visits.  Visits can be scheduled anytime between 7:00 am until 7:00 pm with a 2 hour scheduling window.

Pet Sitting

Unlike daily visits, pet sitting includes an overnight visit from 5:00-6:00 pm until the following morning at 7:00 - 8:00 am At the earliest.  During the 14 hour minimum visit, we walk your dog twice, 30 minutes when we arrive, and 30 minutes before we depart.  During the overnight pet sitting we feed, water, and play with all your pets.  We also socialize with your pets, let the dogs out side for "business" breaks whenever they requires it, water indoor plants, feed your fish etc.  Over night pet sitting also provides your home security by having someone living their bringing in the mail, paper, trash/recycling, and alter lights and blinds/curtains.

For more information on overnight visit, please visit our pet sitting page.

*we do not recommend daily visits for dogs if you will be gone overnight.  Some exceptions may apply only if your furry friend has free access to the back yard via a doggie door for "business" breaks.

Dogs are social animals, they require interaction and their routines unchanged.  They are accustomed to being at home during the day, and spending time with you in the evening knowing they are safe at night when you sleep as a pack.  With their routines changed, their structure falls apart, they become uncomfortable and stressful.  Their fundamental sense of security will cease to exist and will create anxieties, fears, and possible aggressions.  A pet sitter does not replace the bond between you and your friend friend, they maintain the routines and structures your furry friend is accustomed to that give them comfort and security.
What's the difference between daily visits and pet sitting?
I'll make this quick so I can get back to chewing my toy.

Why do you need daily visits for your pets?  I'll tell you!

Have the ease of mind of knowing your pets are watched by a professional bonded and insured Big Paw pet sitter rather than trouble your friends or family, or hassle to the more expensive boarding facility.  I'm a dog and even I know and will admit cats hate boarding facilities and kennels even more than most dogs!
