Hiking is a great way to get your furry friend into shape. Winter may add a few pounds and a comfortable laziness. It's time to get back out there (during winter, too)! There are things to smell, places to run and new friends to make.
Hikes are not just great exercise helping us live longer, they are a great place for us, your furry friends, to experience different smells and socialize with the group. Yes, they love hanging out with you, but they also need friends, preferably the kind that look like them. You know: four legs, fur, and a big wet nose. New stimuli, the numerous scents out there on the trails, are a great way to get exposed to new experiences. Did you know that dogs remember objects by the way they smell, not by the way they look? Not smelling new things would be like humans not seeing new things.
The Light Stroll - 2 hour adventure for beginners or the olderly
The Tour Deluxe - 4 hour adventure for your average dog
The Grande Tour- 6 hour adventure full of excitement and energy release!
Hikes Begin when we hit the trail, not when we leave your home. Therefore, take into account that you may not see your furry friend for some time after the hike is over! Use that time for other activities, shopping, sports etc. without having to worry about your furry friend’s well-being.
Because hiking can be demanding on your furry friend, we require a veterinarian note stating the dog is in good health and capable of hikes up to 6 miles long.

Type of Weekend Hikes:
I love hikes! See, this picture proves it! That is Boulder Colorado below from a Mt. Sanitas hike. That's the peak btw! See how satisfied and tired I am and there's still the way down! I tell you, I slept like a two week old puppy for a couple of days until I got that energy bug in me again. Good thing the weekend was just around the corner!
