Session typically last between 45 minutes to 1-hour of therapy depending on the furry friend's mood. We don't force your furry friend to do something they do not enjoy. We find that some days a dog will accept 1.5 hours in complete stillness while other days they are just not in the mood - perhaps there is something on their mind more exciting like a squirrel or the delivery guy.
We recommend your dog rests after the therapy session to allow the body to continue the healing response. Should you have any physical activities scheduled for you furry friend after his or her massage (even a 30 minute walk), we recommend scheduling our massage therapist later that afternoon or early evening. You could even schedule a walk, hike, or run, before the massage this way your furry friend would have has his or her exercise and would be more focused and relaxed to fully benefit from the massage therapy.
