We coined the term "Doggie Employment" as well as provide our costumers [HD] DVD of their training so they'll never forget the lessons!
How can your pet be featured as the Pet of the Month? Simple: He or she needs to prove how super they are!
At the end of each month, we decide between all pets from all service categories which pet is our monthly winner! Each Big Paw Pet Care Provider, or Trainer, nominates a pet they worked with. Each explains why they recommended the pet and we each give the pet a number 1-10. We tally up all the numbers. The winner is the pet with the highest score. If we have a tie, we put these finalists’ names in my doggie bowl disguised in a toy. The toy I bring back to the table is our winner! Since I give every pet a 10, I'm prejudiced that way towards all my furry friends. I get to have a different job. You can call me the "decider" ;)
What does your pet get out of it?
Since your pet did all the work, he or she will receive a super doper cool toy or some specialty tasty treats approved by me, Henry!
We provide, you decide!
p.s.
I really like my job. Tell my human you prefer a raffle for all pets regardless! I think it might be more fare to raffle each month a new pet of the month, no? It will at least guarantee me a valuable office job. In this economy even a dog needs a job!
Thanks Mimi! It was wonderful pet sitting and reinforcing your training! You were a super great listener and rarely barked when it was food time. Keep up the great attitude!
Boy, do these guys know how to play and behave! Thanks guys for constantly improving, proving to us (and your mom) that you can do anything!
Is your pet a featured Big Paw Pet of the Month?
As you can tell, we just recently started our pet of the month award. The only requirement we have so your pet can receive his or her super cool toy or tasty treats, is to permit us to post a photo of your pet right here on this page!
No? Than we recommend you see what Henry has to say about that!
September's Pet of the Month is AJ!
August's Big Paw of the Month are Asha and Sebastian!
AJ is an 8 year old German Shepherd with an aggression towards other dogs. Excuse us, had an aggression towards other dogs. He showed his mom and dad that the third trainer does the charm and made them very proud! He still needs a little more work and practice but he is now able to go on walks with other dogs and does not attack!
After Zadia's daily monthly walks, she proved a little exercise goes a long way! She stopped ripping apart her bed and her behavior towards male humans has changed drastically! She is calmer, less scared and well mannered (after she greets you with all the love and excitement in the world). Great job Zadia!
December's Pet of the Month is Wally!
Thanks Wally for being such a great walker/hiker! Wally is great in the car or jeep laying quietly and patiently until we reach our destination. Wally is also great at greeting others on the trails (canine or human) and never pulls the leash no matter the distraction! Stay being a cool "cat" Mr.
Janurary Pet of the Month is Liela!
Thank you Leila for being so terrific during our pet sitting time together! You exceeded our expectation when your new puppy brother Raven came along. It was wonderful seeing you full of joy and happiness playing and teaching Raven how to be your new playmate!
