So you are going out of town but you cannot take your pet with you. What do you do? You can either take him, her, or them, to a boarding facility or kennel; you can inconvenience relatives, friends or neighbors; or you can have a professional, bonded and insured Big Paw Pet Sitter care for your pet at the comfort of their own home and surroundings! Big Paw Services can take care of all domesticated pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and even the occasional farm animals as long as it's not a live stock business.

**If you do not own a high maintenance social pet and would like more visits than 3 visits, it will be more economical to opt for the overnight visits. Daily drop by visits are not available for dogs if you are out of town overnight without overnight plans for your dog. Dogs are social pack animals. They are not only used to your presence, they need this social interaction for their sanity and daily routines. It would be a violation, in our ethical and moral standards of conduct, for us to be involved with leaving a dog entirely alone the entire duration of your trip with just a few visits.
***For cats, we do not recommend just daily visits if you are gone more then a week. Mix it up with an over night visit or two. As independent as cats are, they need to know there is someone there once in a while should they choose to interact. Cats left alone for long periods of time without a presence of a care giver may turn to destructive behavior to get attention. This type of behavior could last a long time and create much stress and anxiety for your feline and family. We recommend an over night at least once every 3 days but have found that two day intervals are the average intervals many cats prefer before behavior problems arise.

Can I come over and help pet sit? I love other puppies and I'm voted best socialized dog in the world! I can be great free assistance for you if you have a dog that needs the extra socializing, play, or attention when you are away.
Also, feel free to write your pet sitting instructions so you can be sure you did not forget anything that could prove important when you are away. It will also help because we will keep it on record for future reference to save you time.
